Scentsy Buddy

For Parents

ScentsyBuddy.com is an interactive website that allows your child to register and 'adopt' their Scentsy Buddy, play fun games, and read each of the Buddies' stories in a safe, online environment. We do not ask for your child’s personal information or allow online 'chat' of any kind. This website simply offers a way to extend the Scentsy Buddy experience long after you 'adopt' your buddy.

Here are a few things you should know about ScentsyBuddy.com:

  • The Register page allows your child to give their buddy a nickname, birthday, and to design and download an adoption certificate. We’ll ask your child to create a username (which should not be their actual name) and a password for login purposes. We’ll also ask for your child’s age and gender so we can adjust the features of the site to accommodate a more specific audience.
  • How does a Buddy work? gives simple instructions on how to use a Scentsy Buddy and how to insert a Scent Pak.
  • Check out the smelly stuff! lists available Scent Pak fragrances.
  • The Terms and Conditions page lists the Terms and Conditions under which we developed and run ScentsyBuddy.com, namely, how we keep this website fun and safe for your child! It also outlines what you are/aren’t allowed to do while visiting the site.
  • The Privacy Policy explains how we only collect information from you and your child to enhance the ScentsyBuddy.com experience and will not share that information with a third-party vendor. We’ve done all we can to make sure you and your child have a safe and enjoyable experience with ScentsyBuddy.com, but there are also things you can do to make sure your child enjoys this site and the Internet safely:
    1. Let your child know when and where they can go online. Supervise their computer time to be sure they are being safe.
    2. Tell your child to come to you with any questions or concerns with what they see online.
    3. Use your Internet safety features to block certain sites or chat rooms.
    4. Be sure your child follows your rules for Internet use outside of the home, too.
  • Here is a list of rules every child should know to keep them safe on the Internet:
    1. Never give out personal information, like your full name, home address, phone number, photo or passwords without permission from a parent or guardian.
    2. Never talk to strangers online — they might not be as nice as they seem!
    3. Never respond to, and try to avoid opening, suspicious emails or messages.
    4. Be careful about what you type in an online environment — nothing on the Internet is totally private.
    5. If you ever feel uncomfortable with anything you come in contact with on the Internet, tell an adult.
