Terms and Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using ScentsyBuddy.com. You must accept these Terms and Conditions upon registering for ScentsyBuddy.com, and by using ScentsyBuddy.com you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions of use.

If you do not agree to the Terms and Conditions of ScentsyBuddy.com, please do not use the website. If you violate these Terms and Conditions, Scentsy, Inc. reserves the right to suspend or delete your account and deny you access to ScentsyBuddy.com.

At ScentsyBuddy.com, we want you to have a great time extending the Scentsy Buddy experience in a safe online environment. We comply with FCC/COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act) guidelines and make sure that every user who visits ScentsyBuddy.com does the same. Please read through the Privacy Policy to learn more about your rights as a user.

Registration: When you visit ScentsyBuddy.com, we ask you to submit information during our registration process. You must create a password and a username (which should not be your child’s actual name), and include your or your child’s age, gender, and the registration number unique to your Buddy. You agree that all of the registration information you submit is accurate and current.

Your username and password will allow you to log in to register your Scentsy Buddy and print off the adoption certificate. You do not need to create a username and password to play games or print the coloring pages on the site.

We’ll use demographic information, like age and gender, to personalize your ScentsyBuddy.com experience.

Scentsy Independent Consultants: Scentsy Independent Consultants are independent third party contractors of Scentsy and are not otherwise affiliated with Scentsy. Scentsy is not liable for the statements, acts, or omissions of Scentsy Independent Consultants, whether through or in connection with ScentsyBuddy.com.

ScentsyBuddy.com is owned and operated by Scentsy, Inc. (www.scentsy.com). The content of ScentsyBuddy.com is copyrighted under United States copyright laws. None of the material on ScentsyBuddy.com may be copied, reproduced, distributed, republished, uploaded, displayed, posted, or transmitted in any way whatsoever.

Rules of Conduct: We expect ScentsyBuddy.com users to respect the law as well as the rights and dignity of others. While using ScentsyBuddy.com you agree to comply with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations. In addition, your use of ScentsyBuddy.com is conditioned on your compliance with the rules of conduct set forth in the Terms and Conditions, and failure to comply with these rules of conduct may result in termination of your access to ScentsyBuddy.com.

You agree not to:

1. Post, transmit, or otherwise make available through ScentsyBuddy.com any information or materials that are or may be threatening, harassing, degrading, hateful, or intimidating, defamatory or libelous, fraudulent, obscene, indecent, pornographic or otherwise objectionable, or any information protected by copyright, trademark, trade secret, right of publicity or privacy, or any other proprietary right.
2. Post, transmit, or otherwise make available through ScentsyBuddy.com any information or materials that would give rise to criminal or civil liability, any virus, spyware, or computer code, file, or program that is harmful or invasive or that may damage, hijack, disable, interfere with, or disrupt the operation of any hardware, software, or equipment.
3. Post, transmit, or otherwise make available through ScentsyBuddy.com any unsolicited or unauthorized advertisements, promotional material, “junk mail,” “spam,” “chainletters,” “pyramid schemes,” or other investment opportunities.
4. Post, transmit, or otherwise make available through ScentsyBuddy.com any Personally Identifiable Information about another individual, without prior consent, or any non-public information about a company without the proper authorization to do so.
5. Use ScentsyBuddy.com for any fraudulent or unlawful purpose.
6. Use ScentsyBuddy.com to defame, abuse, harass, stalk, threaten, or otherwise violate the legal rights of others, including without limitation others' privacy rights or rights of publicity, or to harvest or collect information about users of ScentsyBuddy.com.
7. Impersonate any person or entity, including without limitation any representative of Scentsy; falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity in connection with ScentsyBuddy.com; or express or imply that we endorse any statement you make.
8. Interfere with or disrupt the operation of ScentsyBuddy.com or the servers or networks used to make ScentsyBuddy.com available; or violate any requirements, procedures, policies or regulations of such networks.
9. Restrict or inhibit any other person from using ScentsyBuddy.com (including without limitation by hacking or defacing any portion of ScentsyBuddy.com). Use ScentsyBuddy.com to advertise or offer to sell or buy any goods or services for any business purpose, without Scentsy's express prior written consent. Reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, link to or otherwise exploit for any commercial purposes, any portion of, use of, or access to, ScentsyBuddy.com.
10. Modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble any portion of ScentsyBuddy.com.
11. Remove any copyright, trademark or other proprietary rights notice from ScentsyBuddy.com or materials originating from ScentsyBuddy.com.
12. Frame or mirror any part of ScentsyBuddy.com.
13. Create a database by downloading and storing ScentsyBuddy.com content.
14. Use any robot, spider, site search/retrieval application, or other manual or automatic device to retrieve, index, "scrape," "data mine" or in any way gather ScentsyBuddy.com content or reproduce or circumvent the navigational structure or presentation of ScentsyBuddy.com without Scentsy's express prior written consent.

Additionally, you acknowledge and agree that you (and not Scentsy) are responsible for obtaining and maintaining all telecommunications, broadband, and computer hardware, equipment, and services needed to access and use ScentsyBuddy.com, and for paying all charges related thereto.
